Abstract
We present the clinical case of a 35 year old female, consulting because of pancytopenia and fever, presenting at the time of admission gingivorrhagia, epistaxis and a perianal lesion with diagnostic confirmation of acute promyelocytic leukemia with concomitant perianal myeloid sarcoma.
Due to the rare clinical presentation we conducted a bibliographic search on the prognostic impact and eventually the requirement of treatment modification.
