Abstract
Intrasellar plasmacytoma and non-functioning pituitary adenoma have clinical and radiological similarities; therefore, the diagnostic approach is multidisciplinary due to the prognostic and therapeutic implications. We present the clinical case of a patient with Multiple Myeloma awaiting consolidation with autologous stem cell transplant; who came to the emergency room with headache and progressive decrease in visual acuity, with a preliminary radiological impression of non-functioning pituitary adenoma and presumptive diagnosis of intrasellar plasmacytoma.
