Abstract

The assistance in onco-hematological patients must fully evaluate the variables involved in the process, including psychological and emotional aspects. That is why the onco-image workshops are effective in the emotional support of this process. The “Look good feel better”(1) organization conducts oncoimage workshops in different parts of the world, and in Argentina it is “Luzca bien Siéntase mejor”(2) when doing workshops at the C.A.P.A (Argentinian Camera of the Cosmetics and Perfum Industry) and in Hospitals. In the Hospital Británico de Buenos Aires, the “Luzca bien Siéntase mejor” workshops are also performed and we have carried out a psychometric measurement experience in which we evaluate the favorable impact on the self-esteem of onco-hematological patients in active treatment.
